**Betty White is currently living in Houston, Texas with the best foster mom around. She is available for out-of-state adoption.**
Betty White was found in a park, trying her best to care for and keep track of all 7 of her babies. It seems they were abandoned there once the puppies turned 8 weeks old and were more than their owner could handle. They were so lucky that a loving, compassionate, animal lover found them and took them all home into safety. Betty remained with her pups for several more weeks until all of her babies were adopted and she took a much needed rest.
Betty White is a Boxer/ Hound mix, estimated at 2 years old and 40 pounds. She’s a beautiful lady and has a smile that goes on for days. She smiles so big that you can see the back of her throat. We love and adore this girl and are so happy to have a small role in her forever happiness. She was named after the wonderful celebrity because she has an amazing spirit and we know that the real Betty White would be honored to have a dog named after her.
Despite being an excellent momma to 7 silly puppies, she is not particularly fond of small dogs that are really yappy and in her face. We think she had 11 weeks of that with her babies and she’s ready to have some peace in her life. She is also not a fan of cats, so a cat-free home is ideal for this lovely lady. Other than those, she seems to get along fine with other dogs, however she’d probably love to be a single dog family and soak up all of the attention for herself. She’s a sweetheart of a girl and deserves a wonderful life moving forward.
She is a perfect size for lots of activities and also for lots of snuggling. She seems to love her leash walks and has a nice build for outdoor adventures. She’s still young and has many years of fun to enjoy with her new family. Betty is happy, healthy and has a moderate energy level. She’s been spayed, so she never has to worry with all those babies again. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. She is house trained, crate trained (even though she’s not a huge lover of the kennel yet) and she’s getting really great at the leash walks.
Betty White is ready to start her new life and is available for out-of-state adoption. Her adoption fee is $450, which covers the cost of her flight and her new travel crate.
