Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pip is a male 5lb toy fox terrier mix. Most people say he looks like a tiny German Shepard and he does. Except he has no tail...not even a nub. Pip was rescued from a local kill shelter where he was going to be euthanized for being afraid. The shelter estimated his age at 5 years old. It's hard to tell. He acts much younger. They also decided to call him a chihuahua and he's not. Pip is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots. He is a little fearful in new surroundings. It's very possible he's been abused in the past. Even at the height of his fear all he wants is held. He doesn't hide or run away. Pip just wants to be close to someone. He is really good with other dogs. He has not been cat tested yet. Pip would do best in a quiet home with adults and preferably other dogs. Once he feels at home he loves to run and play. He is housebroken, crate trained and has nice manners. He's also not much of a barker. So far he's only barked when he wants held. Pip needs a forever home, but would do best in a home with no small children. He will gladly fall asleep with his head on your shoulder while you watch tv. For more information on Pip please contact his foster mom, Dee at 702-287-6973. There is an adoption fee for Pip.
