Ellie Mae is in a foster care program at a high kill shelter in rural east Tennessee. If she is adopted, that vacancy in the foster home opens up to a death row dog. Here is Ellie's story...please help us save a life...

Ellie May is sweet, shy and sensitive. She is very quiet and low energy. She gets along well with other animals but needs a home with no small kids. She is house trained and great on leash. Ellie May has lyme disease and will periodically need treatment for "flair ups" for the rest of her life. Transport is available to New England. Her adoption fee is nominal and transport runs aprx. $140.
