Breeze's Story...
A cool breeze on an autumn day and a walk in the woods? Sounds like a perfect day to take Breeze. She would love to join you. This distinguished lady may be showing her gray but that is only a reflection of age and wisdom. Found wandering along a highway, Breeze ended up at Better Days in 2011. She has been waiting patiently for her second chance since that day. She's a beautiful dog, easy to walk on a leash and watches you calmly as you walk by her kennel. Although Breeze isn't overly fond of other dogs, she would love to find a home with a loving human companion as she continues to age gracefully.

Can you fulfill Breeze's wishes? Please fill out an application at www.betterdaysanimalleague.org to meet Breeze!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Breeze, a Chambersburg Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Chambersburg, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Chambersburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chambersburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chambersburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chambersburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
