My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous girl was rescued by SOAR at a gas station in Georgetown, KY. on the Fourth of July weekend.
Diva was passing though Kentucky with her family when they stopped to get gas.
Her owners went inside and Diva stepped on the automatic window and jumped out and became very frightened. After trying to coax her back for a time. Her owners "gave up" and went back to their home state leaving her behind and strangers trying to catch her. The next morning our rescue was called and after about two hours with some tasty food, Diva finally decided to take food out of the animal control officer's hand and we were able to successfully get her into our care.
Her family did not want her back, stating they could not "breed" her so she came into our foster care where she has been getting the care and love she deserves. Diva is now Spayed, Vaccinated and Microchipped. She turns one year old on August 2nd.
Diva needs a dog saavy owner who knows the breed and will continue to work with her so she will continue to flourish.
Diva is housetrained and likes to curl up on the couch with or without her person .
She is cratetrained and very good riding in the car.
