Trent is a male Bichon Frise mix approximately 1 year in age. He has bright white curls that are soft and non-shedding. Trent has been professionally groomed and currently has a shorter summer cut. He is on the smaller side, weighing in at 12 pounds full grown. Trent is an amazingly well adjusted young dog. He gets along seamlessly with other dogs, both big and small. He will be the star at your local dog park for sure. You can take him anywhere and he is a good boy, frequently becoming the life of the party. Trent is submissive with people and eager to please. He will do anything for a tasty treat and learns the ways of the household rapidly. He is bright and attentive, comes when you call, and is currently learning the command for sit. Trent is excellent with children, gentle and tolerant. He loves being snuggled and petted, thriving when he is included in family life. He also adores walks and will trot out easily on leash with a harness. Trent is a healthy boy and has been vet checked. He came in stray to the shelter with a small scar on his right eye. Upon examination it appears that Trent was poked in the eye, probably when he was a puppy. His eye has healed and his vision is still very good although he probably has only partial vision in his right eye. It does not affect him in the least and is barely noticeable. Despite his painful past, Trent remains a super friendly, affectionate and bubbly young guy. Its easy to fall in love with him because of his adaptable, kind nature. If nothing is going on, Trent will flop down on the floor next to you with his furry legs stretched out behind him and take a nap. He is such a good boy and an easy keeper. Trent is ready for his new forever loving home today!
Trent’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Trent is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Martha and Michael and is ready for his forever home.
You may meet and apply to adopt Trent at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, AUGUST 8th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in IRVINE located at 15333 Culver Dr., Irvine, CA 92604. (Our event is held INSIDE of the PETCO store.) adoptpetmatch@gmail.com
