Ilana's Story...
Meet cuddly and shy Ilana with the heart shaped spot on her nose!! Ilana and her sister Abbi are survivors- as tiny kittens they both lived through a disease that is generally terminal in kittens (pan leukopenia) and are now immune to it.

4 months old in August, they are happy, healthy, and sweet as can be! These girls need a place to call their own, and a forever family! We prefer they be adopted as a pair because they are fostered together and are extremely bonded. Ilana is definitely the shy one of the pair, so she relies on her brave sister Abbi, we would not want to break this special pair up.

Meet them at our Kitt Crusader adoption events 12-4 Sundays on Larchmont Boulevard, or email foster mom Cat at : writerxyz@gmail.com

These kittens were rescued by Kitt Crusaders rescue group, so please email Kitt Crusaders Mary@kittcrusaders.com or foster mom Cat at email above. meow.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ilana, a Los Angeles Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
