My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking to bring some more charm into your home Shadow and Shade are your pair! These two siblings are not only GORGEOUS but they are also two of the most gentle kitties we have met. While they are playful and goofy and can certainly show off all of their kitty antics with the best of them, when it comes to interacting with humans they settle quickly and are incredibly polite. No climbing the legs for attention with these two. Shade who has a beautiful powder blue hue to her coloring is a bit more adventurous and interested in what can be explored in her environment while her brother Shadow with incredibly sleek rich black hair is a total lap kitty.

They were rescued from a situation where someone is letting their outdoor cats breed and it has gotten out of control. Just a week before we rescued Shade and Shadow two other kittens had been killed by cars just 10 feet from where they were sleeping! We are so heartbroken we did not know about the situation in time to save the other two but are very grateful to have Shade and Shadow off the street. Now they are just waiting for a real home of their own.

They have received two sets of vaccines, are fiv/felv negative, and will be spayed/neutered and chipped before placement. If interested in meeting this very charming pair please contact julia@adogsliferescue.org or 310.344.7366.
