Cletus's Story...
Cletus is an adorable and loving Hound Mix. His D.O.B. is 1/01/14. He's a youngster that found himself in a situation when he got out of his run, and ended up being taken to an animal shelter. Lucky for him he found MAS. He is a shy, yet very trusting guy. He loves to curl into you for loving, and try to sit on your lap. He is working on his obedience, and loose leash walking with the kind staff and volunteers at MAS. He loves toys, including plushy toys and nylabones. He will need a nice sized yard to get his sniff on, preferably wooden 6' as he can climb chain link....Lots of walks and an active family.

Meet-Your-Match Canineality color is: Orange Goofball!!
For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cletus, a Lake Odessa Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Lake Odessa, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Lake Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
