Dutchess's Story...
Dutchess comes to CMACC from the oils fields of North Dakota. She was in a reservation animal pound previous to coming to CMACC rescue. She is a very sweet and playful puppy. (Believed to be approx.7 months old. She looks a little like a Vizla or Weimaraner, but we do not DNA test, so she could be any mix of breeds. May have choc. Lab? (Tasha has been vaccinated, but we are waiting for the paperwork from the reservation.)

ADOPTION FEE: $175.00 + tax (Scheduled for alteration, but adoption fee will go up after surgery.)

If this pet is not already altered, you will be responsible to have this done. These services are available at the CMACC location through Sauk Rapids Pet Care at a reduced cost.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dutchess, a Sauk Rapids Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Sauk Rapids, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Sauk Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sauk Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sauk Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sauk Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
