Big Boy's Story...
Hi friends! I hope you are having a great day! My name is Big Boy and it was no creative genius that gave me that name as I am one large dude! At 4 years old and 60 lbs I'm a bit overweight. That may have something to do with all of those Big Boy Burgers I've been eating... Anyway, I am a hunk of love that is AWESOME with everyone I meet. I am polite and complimentary, a perfect gentleman. I am good with other dogs my size, but need a home without cats. Also, because of my breed it's important that my family owns their own home. Are you ready for this sweet soul to be a part of your family? Fill out the adoption application so we can schedule a meet and greet! I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. MY adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Big Boy, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
