Eve's Story...
This photo does not do justice to this sweet baby, but more will need to be taken soon. Eve is a Sato, found with her mother and brother on the streets of Puerto Rico. A sassy little thing, she is playful and fun, and now safely in New Jersey. Estimate birth day early June, her current weight is 8 lbs. Satos make awesome pets, her breed mix is a total guess. Whatever it is, this little girl is sure to be an awesome pet.
All our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have been dewormed and are current on vaccinations. Our adoption fee includes 30 days of complimentary medical insurance for your new pet.
Our dogs are fostered on a private residence, we do not have a free standing shelter. They live on a farm where they run and play with other dogs, cats, horses, and barnyard fowl.
Initial contact with us must be made through e-mail.
E-mail ARFofMercer@gmail.com for an adoption application or with any questions. Once your adoption application is approved, you will be invited to meet our dogs/puppies.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Pennigton, or seeking a Border Collie/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog puppy from a breeder in Pennigton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pennigton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pennigton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
