Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SHADOW is a 1 1/2 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 68 pounds. He is a wonderful fellow with beautiful bronze colored eyes that draw you in! He finds himself on the hunt for a forever family. He is friendly with an outgoing personality and is very playful. Shadow is very smart. In his stay at the shelter, one of the kennel techs had already taught him to “sit”. He was social and friendly at the shelter and did well with volunteers and everyone he met. He walks ok on leash. No cat history history so cats are unknown. Good with other dogs but no chickens please. Not approved for apartment/condo/townhouse living. He comes from a rural area Shadow is approved for kids ages 10+.
Update (8/02): What a beautiful dog!!! Shadow is taking it easy after his neuter. His 100% calmer without the cone, and settling in very well for an 18 month old just out of the kennel. He is not a runner, but very strong on the leash when wanting to investigate. I put him on a lead in the yard and he just walked around exploring everything. As long as he can be on the lead and without the cone for stretches he should be fine. He is a beautiful and smart boy. He did great meeting two of the 4 neighbor dogs already. He's not really interested in them but LOVES attention.
This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has between 50 ~ 80 dogs available for adoption.

An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a house check is required.
