Ringo's Story...
Why Choose me?
Ringo is a sweet owner surrender who just came in a few days ago. He’s already neutered and ready to go to his new furever home. He’s got beautiful coloring, and while we’re not sure why he was brought in, we have no doubt that this gentleman will make a perfect addition to our home. While he’s named after a rock star, this guy is as calm and friendly as he could be. Come see this guy ASAP as he’s ready to go and the shelter is a confusing place for a sweet guy like him who’d much rather be curled up at home in front of a window or in your lap.

Act quickly to adopt Ringo. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ringo, a Athens Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Athens, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Athens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Athens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Athens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Athens paves the way for another one to be saved.
