Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet the coolest bulldog mix ever to get out of Georgia! Adorable and super sweet, 2 year old Roscoe is a mix of American and English Bulldog or maybe Staffordshire Terrier. Roscoe is one lucky dude, having been rescued off a busy Atlanta metro street by a California film crew filming in the area. Roscoe was running in traffic and pulled to safety and now is headed to Washington State to find his forever home. From the minute he met his rescuers, Roscoe has been loving and happy and he has the biggest and goofiest smile! He was unneutered, covered in fleas and under nourished- but all of that did not get his spirit down. Roscoe has been cared for (and loved) by his Good Samaritan movie folks in Atlanta who have even had him in training classes for a month! Now the movie is done and it’s time for Roscoe to get out of the south and on with his real forever life! 70lb Roscoe is now very healthy, knows his basic commands (Sit, Down, Come, Leave it, Watch Me, Wait, Get, and Back) is good on a leash and is good with other dogs. He’s very athletic, has boundless energy, and would make a great exercise partner. He loves outdoor activities and can’t wait to meet the beach and the mountains. You wouldn’t guess Roscoe weighs 70lbs as he is smallish, compact, stocky- as his English Bulldog mix implies! He has the most gorgeous, light colored brindle coat- Roscoe could star in his own movie! Roscoe is neutered, house-trained, vaccinated and micro-chipped. He is affectionate and loving and truly craves to be with people. He rides well in a car, loves toys and is even perfecting his “fetching” skills. His foster group does not have children, but we think older kids will be fine though he might knock over a very little one as he can be a bit clumsy! He has not shown aggression towards cats and can be a bit shy when he first meets you. Roscoe is crate trained, has a very handsome and easy to maintain coat and he will make a loyal and loving companion for your energetic family. Roscoe will be heading out on transport west mid-August and he’s hoping you’ll be waiting for him at end of his long journey. Just wait until you see this biggest smile on his adorable head! Roscoe’s adoption fee is $400 and you can apply to adopt him online at www.raincityrescue.com- choose the adopt tab. Any questions about this super cutie and best brindle bully boy- email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com. Roscoe can’t wait for your active and outdoorsy family who has love and patience for his gorgeous goofiness! He’ll be ready for that run or walk, but also so very happy to crash right next to you when it’s post-exercise naptime- whew, it’ll be home sweet home for everyone!
