My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Carly and I thought it's about time I spoke up for myself. I'm a 2 year old Shepherd/Hound mix that has already been trained at the prison. I'm known as one of Friendship's Elite Prison Graduates. I learned my lesson well and was trained in basic obedience, manners, proper leash walking and house training. I arrived awhile back along with several other dogs. Between 7 kids and 5 dogs in the family us canines didn't get much attention so they surrendered some of us to Friendship. Since I've been back from prison training I still don't receive much attention. I do have one problem. I kind of act like an idiot in my kennel. I have a "thing" about having a barrier between me and my friends. Once out, I'm one of the sweetest girls around. So PLEASE, when you come to visit have a staff member get me out of my cage and take me to an adoption room to visit with you. You will see a world of difference between when I'm in and out of my kennel. I lived with other dogs but I've never been around cats so I don't know if I like them or not. I'd really prefer if I were the only pet in the family with kids being older. Believe me, you won't regret it.

If you have older kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting Carly, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
