My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Frankie, and I am a petite chihuahua/American staffordshire mix. Yes, you read that right – Chihuahua and American Staffordshire. I really hope my dad was the chihuahua too ;) At 2 years old and just 32 lbs, I am the definition of a petite princess.
I can be shy with people at first but once I bond with someone, I will love them for life.

True to my Chihuahua roots, I am a lap dog and love nothing more than being close to you. If you forget that I’m next to you, I will nudge you with my paw and remind you that you should be petting me :)

While spending time with you is my favorite thing, the next best thing for me is water. Yes, that’s right – I am a ham near water and will jump right in and swim if you throw a ball or stick, as you can see in my video.

If you’re looking for a pint-sized princess who knows how to love like no other, you need to come meet me!

I am spayed, house-trained, have all my vaccinations and am microchipped.

I’ve completed obedience training and my new family will have four weeks of additional training classes free of charge if you are local to the NYC area.

Lived with cats, have to be introduced properly to dogs so need dog savvy person
