Owen is not just a grumpy looking cat, he really can be a sourpuss at times. Although not shy or fearful in the least, he likes things on his terms. He loves being brushed until he decides he doesn't love it anymore. He loves having his head stroked until he decides that he doesn't love it anymore. He loves playing with other cats (the ones he has decided he likes) until he decides that he doesn't love it anymore (he is really suited to being an only-cat in the home). He is never aggressive or mean, but will give a gentle swat when you are doing something that doesn't please him. His quirky personality and grumpy face makes his foster mom laugh at him constantly.

Owen is not an affectionate cat, but is always close to his foster mom, either napping on her desk beside her while she works, laying on the back of the couch when she is watching TV, or sleeping at the foot of her bed at night. He is is a quiet cat, uses the litter box perfectly and other than being a jerk by occasionally knocking something off a table for fun, he is very well behaved. He really is wonderful company!

He has a scar on his eye from a previous injury. While he had a few teeth pulled the vet scraped some of the scar tissue away. His eye does still occasionally water, and it may or may not be problematic in the future. His adopter should be aware of the possibility that it may need require medical attention down the road. He has a thick gorgeous coat that could benefit from weekly brushing.
