My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Colby. He's a 4 year old Chihuahua mix that was found roaming around the busy streets around the shelter. Colby waited for 10 days for someone to claim him but no one ever did. Colby is a nice boy but needs a quiet home with adults only. He gets a little upset with sudden or loud movements and can bite when frightened. Colby is great with volunteers that are calm and take their time with him. Once he knows you, he's a sweet as can be. Colby is not on the floor because the staff does not want an unsuspecting visitor to be nipped at. If you are interested in Colby, please ask for him at the front desk. A staff member will bring him out for a meet and greet. Take your time and let him get to know you. You just may find yourself going home with your new best friend.

If you have another dog in your family, please bring it with you for a meet and greet with Colby. It's not known if Colby likes cats.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
