ROPER's Story...
Roper is a darling 10 month old young fella who weighs only 37 pounds. He was just out having a good time on 07/24 and someone brought him to this really big, scary and loud place. He has not let that get him down since he has had lots of people playing with him. He was finally allowed some time outside and boy did he ever enjoy that. Roper is a well behaved boy. He sits and stays and walks nicely on leash. He has been neutered, is current on vaccines and tested negative for heartworms. He will be micro-chipped when adopted. He is waiting to meet his new family in cage 302. His ID# is 576468.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ROPER, a Marietta Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Coonhound dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound breeders who help with Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
