My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is PEANUT. I am a red smooth small standard dachshund. I am quite a happy boy, and in my prime at 6.5 years old. Perhaps I have indulged in a few too many calories. (Well if 2/3 of Americans are a bit overweight, who can blame a little Doxie??) Do you think you can help me lose a couple of pounds by providing low cal food and taking me for walks? I will love the exercise and it is good for all of us! I’m all up to date on the medicals (rabies, bordetella, DHPP, Advantage, neutered) and I’m looking particularly nice with my recent grooming and pedicure. Just think how stunning I will be when I’ve lost a couple of pounds. By the way, no young children wanted, and certainly no cats. But other than that, I’m not fussy. I just want a forever home, where I will welcome you home each day, no matter what the trials and tribulations you have faced. br>
