RED's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

RED's Story...
Red Hound rescue saved Red originally from a kill shelter. And now, from the shameless woman who dumped him at a shelter after adopting him from the rescue two years ago. Red Hound Rescue always takes their dogs back and they were lucky to retrieve him from the shelter he was surrendered to. His brother was not as lucky. Red is missing his brother and having a home. He is very loving, good with kids and did great at the dog park and loves to run and play! He is so deserving of a good home that will love him forever. If interested in meeting Red, please call Robin at Red Hound Rescue 954-292-3654.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RED, a Homestead American Bulldog/Redbone Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Redbone Coonhound for sale in Homestead, or seeking a American Bulldog/Redbone Coonhound dog from a breeder in Homestead.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homestead already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homestead breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with American Bulldog/Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homestead paves the way for another one to be saved.
