My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Haruki is a 4.5 year old male Red Shiba Inu. He used to live in a home but his family surrendered him to a Maryland shelter, saying he ran away too much when they left him alone in the yard! Haruki is very sweet and polite, but also swift--he's a door bolter!

Haruki is doing fine in a foster home with another dog; he would also be fine in a home with a cat who is well-socialized with dogs. He is fully vetted and microchipped, and is in excellent health.
