My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hubble and Hawking are sweet-natured, lively rats who are good
companions for each other and will be adopted together. They are both
very active and love to leap and climb. They would be especially
rewarding as a first pet for children who would enjoy creating
stimulating habitats and activities for them. They are quite willing to
be picked up and stroked, although at this young age their preferred
mode is go-go-go! Hubble (solid dark grey) is more reserved than Hawking
(thin white belly stripe, some white guard hairs on rump), but both come
to the side of the cage for food and attention as soon as they hear
their foster parent in the room. They are curious, gentle and unafraid.

Rats make a great first pet for kids and are easy to take care of. They
require about half an hour of play time each day and can be trained to
ride on your shoulder, follow mazes, do tricks and come when called!

Rats should be adopted in pairs or go to a home with other rats. Rats
will only be adopted out in same-sex pairs and may not be used as
feeders or for breeding.
