Wrigley's Story...
All of our rescues here at ITV are special. Once you meet Wrigley, you will understand why he captures the heart of everyone he meets. This 3 year old Beagle Mix is a laid back kind of guy who suddenly turns on his sweet personality and charm when he knows he has your attention. We saved Wrigley from a deplorable hoarding situation. Never in a million years would we have guessed he would have a shining white fur coat under all of the mess we washed off. Wrigley weighs 30 pounds and gets along well with other dogs, loves people and children. He loves going on walks and does very well on a leash. Wrigley has been called "low maintenance" because of his laid-back personality. He loves toys, particularly his stuffed tiger who he cuddles with at night. He keeps his kennel clean and is eager to please his new pack leader. Wrigley is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. If you've been wanting to adopt a new best friend and can give this Prince Charming all of the love he deserves, go to ITVRescue.org and complete an online application. We suggest you don't waste any time. Wrigley wiggles his cute little butt and turns on the charm for everyone he meets. We know he won't be available for very long.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wrigley, a Evansville Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
