Facts about Pop Tart (Poppi)

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Orange Or Red Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Poppiā€™s number one priority is finding a lap to snuggle in and get some love. She is a larger Tabby that is six years old and wants to be right by you. She craves attention and rightly so; Poppi and her sister Simbi were abandoned in an apartment and a neighbor brought them to the shelter. She is friendly, not too energetic, and longs to be with her special person who will spoil her. She takes treats from your hand. Ideally we would like Poppi and Simbi to be adopted together. They were rescued from the shelter together. Both cats have different personalities and both deserve to be loved.

WE DO NOT ALLOW OUR CATS OR KITTENS TO BE DECLAWED!!!! Declawing is an owner convenience and serves no benefit to the cat. If you adopt a kitten/kitten and we find out it has been declawed, not only will you lose your spay/neuter refund, but we have the right to reclaim the cat.

About ABRA, Inc (All Breed Rescue Angels)

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a foster style rescue. Our pets live with us, so we know more about them than the average shelter. We have a variety of homes that include other dogs, cats, kids, etc.

Spaying and neutering is the absolute best way to curb pet overpopulation. We believe in low cost spay and neuter and can provide info on low cost surgeries.

We also believe pet nutrition and vaccine awareness can keep your best friend healthy for life. Our fosters are fed high quality food. We encourage people to explore the nutritional value of pet food and make the best decision for their pets.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoptions start with an application and approval process. Most of our adult dogs have an adoption fee of $250, regardless of how much medical attention they have received (some of them cost us substantially more than that, all of our rescues are thoroughly vetted and treated for any illness before being adopted out). You must be 21 adopt from us.

We prefer a fenced in yard but it's not required. All people in the household must be present for adoption and we request that you at least spend 45 minutes with the pet of your choice before making the commitment to take them home

EVERY adoption includes spay or neuter. Check around; not everyone includes the price of surgery, even if it's required. Our donation for dogs also includes: first shots, heartworm test if over 6 months, and rabies shot (at time of surgery if too young). Most are also microchipped. Cats come with surgery cost included, first shots, FIV test, and nail trim. We do NOT allow our cats to be declawed!
