Roscoe, a 5-6 month old, male, tricolor, smooth coat collie or possibly a mix, is a sweet, smart boy that needs a family to call his own. He was recently rescued from a shelter and is now in a foster home waiting to be adopted. He weighed 23 pounds on 7/22/15 and is a little thin. He should continue to grow and gain some more weight now that he is living in a less stressful environment. Roscoe is learning how to walk on a leash, getting over his fear of getting in a car, but once in, appears to ride quite well, gets along well with other dogs and loves people. He knows the command “sit” and knows how to use a dog door. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, including Bordetella for kennel cough, and being kept on heartworm and flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. We should have better pictures soon. If you would like to adopt Roscoe, the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application.
You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.
