Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Pollyanna" is a lovely one-year old female kitty who arrived at the HSOV on May 9, 2015 with her five newborn kittens who were just 3-days old . This beautiful young 'mother-to-be' was looking for a protected place where she could give birth to her babies and wandered into what appeared to be a safe spot inside a nice garage. The family who discovered her in their garage could not keep her and brought her and the kittens to the safety of our shelter. "Pollyanna" has a brown-and-black short smooth coat in a tabby pattern, a long fluffy tail, and a darling face with large golden eyes. She is a fairly petite girl who weighs 7 lbs. "Pollyanna" and her kittens went home with a fantastic foster family on May 12, 2015 where she enjoyed a real home environment in which to raise her youngsters. Her foster family reports that "Pollyanna is a very cuddly cat who is loyal and affectionate. She is very sociable and likes dogs but doesn't really care for other cats. She was a good mother to her litter of kittens and taught them all the things that a momma cat is supposed to teach her children". Pollyanna and her two remaining kittens (Foo and Theodore) came back to the shelter for a visit on July 23, 2015, and we were delighted to take photos of them to make their debut on petfinder/facebook. (Incidentally two of the kittens have found homes already and were adopted by their foster family) :) Please contact the HSOV by calling 740.373.5050 or by sending an email to manager@hsov.org if you would like to meet Pollyanna, Foo, and Theodore to give them a good home. "Pollyanna" was given vaccinations and wormer on June 19, 2015. She was spayed on July 31, 2015 and was also given rabies vaccine.
