My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a touch of royalty in your life? If so, then I am the perfect little Princess for you! I would really love to be pampered and have a happy home where I can just be myself. I’ve had a tough life, so I’m hoping that you are here to be my knight (or knightess) in shining armor and whisk me away to my own little castle in your home. Once you get to know me I think you’ll see that I deserve the royal treatment.

Before I was relinquished to MaxFund, I had two prior owners. My first owner was not a good companion in any sense, and mistreated me. I was put in situations where I had to fight with other cats, and because of that trauma, I really can’t tolerate being around other cats now. As you can imagine, that makes it very hard for me to live here at the shelter. Cats, and dogs too, make me very stressed and unhappy, so I need to be your only pet. I promise that I will give you all the love that you need and we will be so happy together. I can see us now, watching over our kingdom from the comfort of the couch or window seat. Ah, that would be the perfect life for me. I am so excited to find a family that will make me the focus of all of their attention and love!

Despite my unhappy past, I do enjoy being petted and paid attention to, but it has to be on my terms until I feel truly comfortable with you. I have had some bad experiences with people, so I am still learning to open my heart. If you are patient with me and give me my own space when I need it, I know that we will become true companions for life. Here at the shelter I may seem withdrawn or upset, but I just know that I can come around in a quiet, loving home. If you think that home could be yours, please contact maxfundcatshelter@gmail.com!
