My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi. I'm Rusty. Rusty is one of those dogs that was an adorable little puppy that got adopted into a loving home. 7 months later, the people are surprised that he grew into a DOG! 

He's almost a year old now and 47 pounds. He is extremely handsome. His left eye is as blue as a summer sky. He is active and outgoing and, he will make a great pet for an active family. 

Please e-mail soon so that he might get his own golden ticket to ride on the next transport leaving GA because, sadly his time is running out as the shelter fills up with discarded pets. 

CHS is a no-kill shelter, and we try our best to help these “At Risk” dogs find a new loving home. Please, consider opening your heart to this fun loving boyl!
