Dakota was a stray that ended up at Pender Shelter. We cannot imagine why she was overlooked for adoption. She is a beautiful girl and more sweet and gentle than any dog I have ever met. Dakota weighs about 45 pounds and is about 9 to 12 months old so she might get a little bit bigger. She has been spayed, is up to date on shots, has been de-wormed. She tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Dakota is learning that it's ok and kinda fun to play with toys. She walks really well on a leash and likes to go for walks. She has met the other foster dogs in our home and she has done well with all of them. She is a happy girl, but in a calm sweet way. If you want a unique looking beautiful girl then you HAVE to meet Dakota!
