Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello everybody! My name is Rayna. I'm a 1-year-old spayed female Pit Bull. I weigh approximately 56 pounds, I'm fully vaccinated, potty trained and I'm microchipped too.
My sister and I were dumped at the shelter by family members of our previous owner. The story is that our owner passed away and the family decided to keep our other two siblings, but take my sister and I to a high-kill shelter. Why they didn't keep me is anybody's guess.
Nearly 3 weeks went by without a single person interested in us. Luck finally found us, though! CageFree was at the shelter pulling dogs and they were introduced to us. It was love at first sight! They insisted that we become part of their rescue family. We couldn't have been happier!
I'm a little on the shy side at first meeting, so I'm looking for a family that will go slow with me and help me build my confidence. I am a really sweet girl with a big heart - I just need time to show you. Once I'm comfortable, I'll have no problem showing you my beautiful smile and planting big wet kisses on you!
I absolutely love other dogs and I really enjoy playtime with my puppy pals. So a family with another dog would be great, or even just trips to the dog park or beach would make me super happy! Anytime I can hang out with other dogs is a happy time for me. I'm also cat-friendly, as long as the cat doesn't mind playing with me!
I can't wait to find my forever home. I have a feeling that I am really going to love running around the yard and playing with all my toys. If you don't have a yard, that's okay. We can go to the park or go on a hike. I am open to trying whatever activities you like to do, too.
If I sound like a good fit for your family, please contact CageFree and tell them you want to meet me. I'll be waiting!
