Here's what the humans have to say about me:
THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING ONLY - CONTACT INFORMATION PROVIDED BELOW.
Lorelei is a 10-year old Lhasa Apso who was owner surrendered to us because she does not do well with small children. They had her since she was a puppy and trained her to use a doggy door. Her previous owners loved her and wanted to keep her but could not because their grandchildren moved in with them and it was not the best situation for Lorelei and they regrettably released her to the shelter.
However, a volunteer at Adopt Me Rescue offered to help Lorelei and her previous owners pulled her out of the shelter so she would not be euthanized and drove two hours to Los Angeles to her Foster's home. Lorelei is a sweet dog who loves to cuddle.
She should be with a family with older children and it is ideal that she is the only dog as she can become possessive. Lorelei was also diagnosed with bladder stones and needs a special food from the vet so she does not have recurring issues. This food can be found at any vet or on-line and cost the same amount as any dog food you can find at pet stores.
If you are interested in Lorelei, please contact her Foster Dad, Casey Barnaby at: caseybarnaby@aol.com.
