WHY IS THIS DOG IN NEED??- This little girls were caught & picked up as a stray. They are is in a high kill shelter that is faced to make hard choices for nothing more than having no space.

WHERE IS THIS DOG NOW ?- They will be arriving August 9th.. and will be going into foster care to confirm their needs.
Pixie is bonded to Peyton. They must be adopted as a pair.

**ALL ABOUT Pixie **
Info from pound :
Pound say -
They were found as strays as well. A person captured them and kept them from
a busy street. They feared someone had dumped them. We think they may be
sisters. They are both about a year old. We believe them to be chi-terrier
mixes. Both are cute as can be and really sweet. They are a little
intimidated by the shelter but want human attention & interaction. I wish I
had better pictures! Maybe this one will show you a bit.

** UPDATE from relay overnight :
PIXIE IS ONLY 6 POUNDS! She’s a darling mere handful and easily came out of the crate. She’s eaten well and walked around the yard a little. She wanted to be held but then will push off, so be careful not to hurt her. She’s resting with a stuffed soft doggie BIGGER THAN SHE IS to keep her company.

PEYTON IS ONLY 11 POUNDS! She darling too but more cautious about coming out of the crate. She’s eaten and explored the yard – stopping frequently to observe what’s going on in the neighboring yards before proceeding. She’s happy with a stuffed piggy and is resting as well.

We welcome your application for consideration .

*** HOW IT WORKS - ADOPTION INFORMATION ****
Please read ** ALL** the information provided below on the process to
save time and facilitate the process in a smooth manner.

The adoption fee does NOT cover the cost of vetting or supplies for these animals - If you cannot afford the adoption fee
(that is a fraction of actual REDUCED VETTING expenses incurred) then you should reconsider adopting.
These animals deserve forever homes, good food, regular vet care, and emergency care as needed.
Pets should never be euthanized by their owners simply based on financial consideration when something goes wrong.
