Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Foster! This 25-27 pound fellow is super sweet and affectionate, house trained, and great with furry friends and people of all ages! He is approximately 3 years old.
Foster found himself just a couple hours from being put to sleep at a shelter in Harris County. After he was saved, he spent two months living with a very nice foster family in Houston who has two young children, a cat and a lab. They all got along well. Foster in now living with a foster family in Wisconsin. He is a loving, sweet boy who can't wait to meet hisforever family!
Our adoption process works a bit different than other shelters and rescues! Paddy's Paws serves as a coordinator for Houston rescues. We send out the applications, arrange home visits and secure back up fosters for each of the dogs that will be transported here. Like most foster-based organizations, we do not have a facility and set up all appointments on an individual basis. Prior to any meet and greets, we require an approved application so we will need to go through all the steps before having you meet any of the available dogs here in Wisconsin.
If you would like to begin the preapproval process, you can visit this link to fill it out: http://bit.ly/1IIlGFS
We start with the completed application and then check references/vet records. The next step is a homevisit with family and one of our representatives. Once we have gathered all this information, we provide it to the Houston team. Then, we can set up a meet and greet with available dogs.
