I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lauretta (POM-JG)'s Story...
Since Lauretta is the only pup left in her litter, we call her our "lonely little Petunia in the onion patch." But don't think for a minute that this 16 week oldpurebred Walker Hound cutie is a delicate flower - she's right in the middle of all the roughhousing sessions with her foster families pooches . Lauretta will do great in an active family who will give her loving care and consistent training, she has the potential to be a joyful companion! She is spayed, up to date on shots and ready to go!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lauretta (POM-JG), a Harrisonburg Treeing Walker Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
