Sylvester (Neutered)'s Story...
"Sylvester" is an adorable 2-year old male Tuxedo kitty who was surrendered by his owner on August 5, 2015 because a child in the household was allergic to him. This handsome young man has a black-and-white short smooth coat in a tuxedo pattern, a short tail, and a darling face with the cutest black beauty mark beside his pink nose. "Sylvester" has an affectionate personality and loves attention. He is a fairly big boy who weighs 10 lbs. "Sylvester" was neutered on July 8, 2014 and was also given rabies vaccine on that date. He would love to be back in a home again where he could be loved, pampered, and spoiled to his heart's content.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sylvester (Neutered), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
