Lewis and Clark are a bonded pair of Brittany Spaniel/Border Collie brothers who would love to be adopted together! They are recovering from leg injuries caused by being thrown from a car. They are looking for a loving home to show them life can be good. They are friendly, affectionate and full of smiles. They are about 10 months old, potty trained, micro chipped and current on vaccinations. They each weigh 38 pounds. Their injuries do not require surgery or splinting due to the locations. Both will heal with a little time, rest, and tender loving care which they are getting in their foster home.

Based on their breeds, they will be high energy and active dogs. Their new family will need to be active with a house and yard for them to run and play. They are sensitive breeds and will need a gentle owner who can be firm and consistent but not tough. These breeds are eager to please, quick learners, and very trainable.

Lewis and Clark have known pain in their short life and still smother you with kisses and love humans. Lewis will give you his paw even though fractured and painful. Clark still wants to sit in your lap with his fractured hind leg. Being amazing animals they have moved on and are ready to live the happy life they deserve.
