There once was a pretty little princess, who despite being forced to have puppies and then living on the streets all alone, still believed in the good ol' fairy tale. She believed in magic, and fairies, genies and wishes, all of the things little girls grow up dreaming of. Sia saw herself as something special and decided that if all great fairy tale princesses get three wishes, she must be due the same.
Sia made her first wish: to get off the street and have somewhere warm and dry to sleep and to have food to eat. POOF! Sia woke up one day, and was taken to the shelter! To some this may seem like the anti-fairy tail...but to Sia, it meant warmth, and food and human interaction. She was overjoyed!
After some time though, Sia thought, there could be better...and maybe it was time for her second wish! She wished and hoped that she could find a home to go to, a place to live, a yard to run in, and someone would love her....and POOF! She woke up, and got her wish -- when her foster dad stepped up and took her home! This home however, isn't quite the right fit for Sia...(she really identifies with Goldie Locks and The Three Bears too -- we told you she likes fairy tales!) because it has another dog and cat, and Sia, being a total princess diva herself, would really prefer to have a home where she is the sole source of attention! So she's now thinking...maybe its time for her third wish!
SO....she wished it! It was the greatest wish of all!! It was for a real forever home, with no dogs, no cats, and people who would love her for the rest of her life! However, this time....there was no great poof. No nothing! Not even one application on our sweet wishful girl (do you know what that can do to a Princess' ego?!)
Okay, so Sia is in fact, a five year old female adult Pit bull --and we know there are a lot of them out there -- but she really is something special. She deserves to be set apart. She was passed over at the shelter time and time again, and she has been with our rescue going on 9 months! If you adopt Sia, she will love you, more than anything in the world, until her last breath, she is just that kind of lady. She is house trained, crate trained and already knows all her basic commands. Sia loves to play, she's so eager to learn and quickly will steal your heart when you meet her -- she has some real magic in her big brown eyes.
