Kilo's Story...
Hi my name is Kilo and here is my story. I was found abandoned and brought to a local vet who contacted Gail's Pets. I spent four weeks with a foster family while I had my first two DAPP shots, and now I have arrived at the shelter and can join a new family the 1st part of September.

Being that I'm a puppy I love to chew on your pant legs and your shoe laces. I love playing with other puppies and bigger dogs, and I just all around cute! The vet believes I am some breed of terrier mix.

Kilo resides at a rescue organization in Arkansas. Please contact Gail Ross at 870-431-8229, or via email at gailspets@hotmail.com to discuss this dog. You can find our adoption application by going to www.Gailspets.org and clicking on the Adoption Application tab. The application, when completed and submitted, will be electronically sent to Gail’s email address.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kilo, a Oakland Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
