My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Peppermint Patty" is a beautiful young (perhaps less than a year old) female Tuxedo kitty who was surrendered by her owner on April 4, 2015. This lovely little lady has a black-and-white short smooth coat in a tuxedo pattern, a long tail, and a adorable face with large golden eyes and extra-long white whiskers. Although "Peppermint Patty" seemed to be an overgrown kitten herself, she gave birth to five kittens on April 28, 2015. Fortunately for this sweet girl, a first-time foster mother fell in love with her and offered "Peppermint Patty" and her babies the hospitality of her home which they have been enjoying since April 30, 2015. It's touching to realize that the first two faces they saw when they opened their eyes a few weeks later were their 'real' mom and their wonderful foster mom

"Peppermint Patty" came back to the shelter for a short visit on May 23rd to show off her youngsters, and we were thrilled to be able to take some preliminary photos of her kittens and some updated photos of their beautiful mother. "Peppermint Patty" is a fantastic momma to her babies, and she still has the same affectionate, playful personality that we knew and loved when she was in our shelter

She is very petite and weighs just 5.6 lbs. We have posted individual photos of the kittens under their names (Linus, Lucy, Marcie, Patty, and Sally Brown) and they have all been adopted and found homes of their very own. "Peppermint Patty" is now an 'empty-nester' and is at the shelter looking for a home where she can be loved, pampered, and spoiled. She was spayed on July 31, 2015 and was also given rabies vaccine. "Peppermint Patty" has been combo tested and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm.
