Daniel's Story...
Daniel came from the same house as Sugar - a rescuer's home. His prior owner died, leaving him and Sugar homeless. Daniel is 8 years old and in great health. He is a larger boy that LOVES CATS! He is best on brief walks and in a yard to play. He is housebroken and clean. He does like to have his own chair to sit in, but he will share with you if you push him over. He is really getting depressed. Not because his owner is gone, that grief is by him, he is depressed because he spent his life in a home, being loved and cared for and now he is in a cage. If you feel you can give a home to Daniel and Sugar, that would be great, but we realize economic times are tough and for the most part, families are sticking to one dog. He is good with other dogs and kids, but we would have to see how everyone gets along. He doesn't like young puppies that jump all over him, he is over all that puppy stuff! Please help Daniel if you can. If you have a house full of cats, some time to spend giving him hugs and sharing ice cream with him, you will make his life so happy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daniel, a BRIDGEPORT Doberman Pinscher/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher/German Shepherd Dog for sale in BRIDGEPORT, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in BRIDGEPORT.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in BRIDGEPORT already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a BRIDGEPORT breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in BRIDGEPORT paves the way for another one to be saved.
