This poor little old lady we named Nadia was dumped in sad shape by her previous owner and brought to a local animal control facility. This teeny tiny yorkie is skin and bones with infected teeth and a very thin unhealthy hair coat, and is straining and having a hard time urinating. We rushed her right to our vet where they discovered she has a HUGE bladder stone and has probably been suffering for a very long time. She's having surgery tomorrow to remove it and we are hoping she will feel better and start to gain weight and thrive once the massive infection has cleared. She is just the most recent in a long string of seniors and severe medical cases, but we couldn't turn our backs on this sweet little girl the way her previous owners did. We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS).
