My story

Don’t ask me what I am mixed with because I don’t remember. I just know that I am friendly and very well behaved and I need a new forever home!
When they found me, they had to shave some hair off my back and treat the abrasion. They think it was some kind of burn. Because I needed to be watched for a while, the shelter sent me to a rescue group where I could be in a foster home.
My back is all healed now and it you hardly notice that I am missing some hair. It might grow back in but even if it doesn’t, I will still have a cute face and a handsome tail.
I get along with other dogs but I don’t play with them very often. I like to sit in your lap and I don’t mind car rides but I do try to sit in your lap while you are driving.
I can be crated but I don’t really need it because I don’t want to chew on anything that I shouldn’t.
I haven’t met any cats or small children since I have been here so I am not sure what I think of them.

Our adoption fee for dogs that are not seniors is $220. All dogs are spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccines and heartworm.
Our adoption process includes an application, personal and vet reference checks, and a home visit. We do not ship dogs under any circumstances.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check our front page for the dates of our next Pet Parade. Appointments outside of Pet Parade to visit our dogs are only available after an application has been filled out, and processing has begun.
