Meet Honey!
My foster human calls me "Honey", but I like it better when she calls me "Gorgeous". She's right. I'm like a fine piece of art -- I prefer to be seen and not touched, unless it is on my terms. You see, I've had a hard year. I lost my home and had to fend for myself in a parking lot. Not easy for any cat, but really hard for me because I'm front declawed. Fortunately, I found my way to Buddies Place where I've been remembering what the good life is like indoors. I like snoozing in comfy chairs, lounging in sunny windows, rubbing my back on carpet, and red laser dots. I like to make my appearance known when it is human dinner time just to see what's on the menu (if it's chicken, I might, perhaps, like a piece). I'm even remembering how nice it is to get scratched on my face and back. I'd like to find a patient human who can give me time to finish adjusting back to indoor life -- sometimes I get a little hissy when I remember the hard times, but just give me a moment and we will be okay. I may never be a snuggly lap cat, but I am a calm, beautiful, and powerful presence looking for a place to call my own. Would you like some beauty in your house?
