Sadie's Story...
Say hello to Sadie! We rescued Sadie from a high-kill shelter on the day she was to be euthanized for space! Sadie is just a puppy and we think she's approximately 7-8 months old. She's got a beautiful brindle coat and the cutest puppy eyes you'll ever see! Sadie is a very gentle, yet playful dog and has never met a stranger. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves people as well! We feel that Sadie would do great with any type of family so please consider her as you're searching for your newest furry family member!

Our adoption process begins with you meeting Sadie. Feel free to schedule a play date with her and your existing dog(s). After you fill out an application, we will verify your references and do a brief home inspection. If all goes well, we will deliver Sadie to you for a small adoption fee. You will also have the option to purchase a large wire kennel for an additional fee. We then ask that you sign our adoption contract. We will do a follow-up visit approximately two weeks to one month after the adoption to ensure that Sadie is adjusting well to her new home and that she is happy and healthy.

We feel our adoption process is the best way to vet good owners and to guard against people seeking dogs for dog fighting, bait dogs, and/or dog sales. We only have our rescue dogs' best interest in mind and we do everything we can to insure that they go to the very best home and that it's the perfect fit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Bryan Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Bryan, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Bryan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bryan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bryan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bryan paves the way for another one to be saved.
