Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy was surrendered to our southern rescue partners because her family didn’t want her any more. Our guess is she turned out a little bigger than they expected. She is 2-3 years old and is listed as a Great Dane/Great Pyrenees mix but we are wondering if she is more of a Lab/Dane mix. No matter what, she is beautiful and sweet and weighs in at 72 lbs.
Lucy is housebroken and crate trained and has a friendly, gentle and very sweet natured personality. Lucy loves walks and playtime. She knows the sit command and will offer her paw to shake. Lucy is such a long-legged beauty! She does well with people of all ages and also gets along with cats and other dogs.
Now that she is in Maine, we are getting to know her; her foster mom tells us she is a great family dog and has done well with the cat.
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.
Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
