ARNOLD HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Meet little Arnold, an adorable, friendly and social Dachshund mix pup looking for a forever home! Arnold was born on 6/13/15 and was rescued from an animal control facility in southern IL with his mother and 6 littermates. His mom, Sophie, is an 11 pound Doxie/Chihuahua mix and his father was a Pug mix. Arnold is 9 weeks old right now and weighs right around 3 pounds. He's a happy guy, who loves meeting new friends! You'll notice in the pics that Arnie has some hair loss around his head. Arnold and his littermates picked up a mild ringworm infection from their mother. Ringworm is a fungus and it is common to see animals from more rural areas be affected. Ringworm is generally harmless, but it does lead to itching and some hair loss. Arnold and his siblings are currently undergoing treatment and will be available to leave for their forever homes once they've completed their treatment plan the last weekend of August(8/28). Arnold or any of his littermates will make wonderful companions for any household with the time for a young puppy. He will also be neutered and microchipped before being placed and will have had at least two series of puppy vaccines.
