My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mr. Maverick a 1 yr old lab-mix that weighs around 70 lbs. and would make a great family pet for an active family. Maverick enjoys going outside to play and a fenced yard is a must. He is trained to use a doggy door too. He is very full of life and loves being around people. He is independent and a true people pleaser. Most of the time you can find Maverick with a smile on his face. Maverick is potty trained and doesn't have any accidents inside. He does well with other dogs, cats, and older children. Maverick always wants to play and tries to instigate playing all the time. Maverick can be protective of his food and rawhides. So if another dog is in the household he would need to be fed separately. He does best to be in his crate with rawhides if other dogs live with him. Maverick does very well on car rides. He knows several commands--like sit, crate, time for bed. Maverick has an eye that waters during allergy season and has been taking a benadryl in peanut butter.
