Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET GENTLEMAN MOUSY! He is a frosty faced dude with a big heart. Mousy is 7 year old mini-pinscher mix and has a sot affectionate personality. Mousy was in the East Valley Shelter for three months and was slated to be euthanized for space. Since springing him lose in early July we've found him to be an ideal pet for folks who are looking for a low maintence dog. Mousy is house broken, an easy eater, loves to walk, is great on the leash, and can be left alone without worry. Mousy mostly just wants to hang out with his humans and eat baby carrots (his favorite snack!).
Mousy loves his human pals so much that he can get pretty protective over them, so we think the ideal adoption scenario would be for Mousy to be in home with no other pets. If you do have pets, there's only one thing to keep in mind, Mousy is a bit of growler. He's not aggressive toward other animals -- never bites or lunges -- but sometimes when other dogs get too close to his bone or bed when he's trying to nap he gives a weird gurgling growl. If you and your pets are ok with that, then we expect Mousy would also do fine in your home.
Mousy is microchipped, vaccinated, and in excellent health
